After recently testing out other driving prototypes, such as the GTA prototype, I was inspired by the
City CubeCollab
to see how to setup a isometric driving experience, using a 2d engine and pixel art, of course.
The city art in the demo above is from multiple artists, see Twitter link for attribution. Each time project is loaded the city is randomly generated.
There is no real game here, it was merely a test to see how the 8 animations look for the different directions of the car. Also, the collision boxes on buildings are tough to get correct here.
